Summer Films...

I'm very psyched about certain films that are coming up. "X-Men Origins:Wolverine" comes out May 1, and I'm thinking about watching it, I really am thinking about it. I, of course, didn't watch the pirated copy, just because I like Hugh Jackman. I read Roger Ebert's review-it wasn't good. I know that Ebert is the man to go to, if you wish to read an honest, impartial review. He gave it 2 stars out of 4, which is bad. I can understand that Ebert wants more from the movie, there is enough action I assume. I also want more from an action movie; I want a good story and some memorable quotes. But I'm willing to give it a try and watch it. The new "Star Trek" film is coming out in May 8. I've never sat down and watched a single episode of Star Trek, nevertheless the film looks fun! It does, from what I've seen, in the trailers, it looks like a very fast-paced movie-a lot of action. I wasn't surprised that the trailer had the "must-have" sex scene (it's so typical, or standard in today's films). I'll probably end up watching it just to have a good time.
"Angels and Demons" comes out on May 15. I liked "Da Vinci Code" it was a fun movie. I'm a fan of those sort of movies, like "National Treasure" the "Indiana Jones" films, you know plots based on fractures of historical facts (FRACTURES!). So I might watch the new adaptation of Dan Brown's novels, or books, or whatever. I'm not interested in learning anything from the film, we all know that the movie-facts are myths made juicy by Hollywood magic.
The latest addition to the "Terminator" franchise, "Terminator:Salvation" comes out on May 21. I like that Christian Bale is the lead character, he's a good actor. I'm curious to know which scene was the one that Bale lost his cool for; HA HA! I expect a better film than "Terminator 3:Rise of the Machines" which was fun, but smudgy. I'm not worried about Schwarzenegger being absent, he has more important things to do like screwing (how dare I say that!) up California. The trailers for "Salvation" look real good. The big robot is what I want to see, though.
"Transformers:Rise of the Fallen" comes out June 24. I'm very exited, this is a must watch. Not because of Megan Fox, she's a damn robot herself. I want to see some robots fight, and see the new additions to the robot cast, too. I loved the first one, but I was disappointed by the comical sense that plagued the first film. It was unnecessary, PERIOD! I hope the second act is more tight, and more focused on pulling a great story and not a good joke.
"Public Enemies" comes out July 1. It's a Michael Mann film, and I am praying it is as good as one of my faves, "Heat". "Public Enemies" stars Johnny Depp, Christian Bale and more. I'm not so familiar with the story, although I know it's about 20's gangsters or 30's, I think. I've seen the trailer, it looks great. If there isn't a lot of action, I won't mind, because if the plot and the characters are deep I'll be very happy.
"Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" out July 15. This is the movie of 2009, no doubt (for me). The wait is too much for me, and I am still mad that they pulled it out of last year. The story is getting good, and it's close to ending. A lot of things happen in this film, or the book, and I hope the film is as good as the book. I want to see the relationship between Hermione and Ron, and Snape kill Dumbledore.
"G.I Joe:The Rise of Cobra" comes out August 7. I loved the toys, but never watched the cartoon. But I'm very much interested in watching the film. I think it looks fantastic.
That's all that I can remember now. Oh yeah there's the "Twilight" film coming out, "New Moon". It comes out sometime in November. I'm not interested in that film. The first one was bad.

Current interesting anime.

So I looked at the Spring schedule for anime, and I liked a few titles. Full Metal Alchemist is back, but I didn't really want to see it. Queen's Blade is an interesting anime, it's full of boob and the likes. But what I'm really paying attention to is
Eden of the East or 東のエデン (Higashi no Eden). It has stunning graphics, and it looks like a real good plot. I've seen the first episode, and I am amazed. It was funny, and mysterious. I really hope the anime ends good, it's only 11 episodes. Bleach is pulling into it's 11th season, and continuing the battle against Aizen's army. It's catching up to the anime, and fast. Turn Back the Pendulum episodes are over, that was fast! Naruto, I don't really watch the anime, I just read the manga. Naruto already beat all of the Pain's and is now face to face with the real Pain. Bleach manga is also on a good run. Ichigo vs Ulquiorra was a long fight. It was great, a good battle, with a lot of surprises. Ichigo transformed, or his inner hollow took over-completely. He beat Ulquiorra-who released into a bat-like thing. He turned to dust after hitting on Orihime. I'm hoping that Bleach anime and Higashi no Eden keep this good. Peace out!

1st post in a good time...

I can't find time to write about anything, and I don't know why?? I will try my best to catch up on everything, who cares who is reading. So far a lot of new things have begun-and ended. Anime and Manga: Naruto is just amazing at this time. Bleach is getting very interesting. Gundam 00 Season 2 ended, and it was a bit of a let-down to be honest. Television shows: Psych, Burn Notice, and Law&Order are all on hiatus. House is very weird right now, seriously. Last episode was...vexing. Enough of that, mos of what I'm watching and reading are getting real good, and I don't miss any episodes. I'll see if I can post more that before.
