I found it! I found it! What I wanted to find: a good song. It just happens that this song isn't full of inflated attacks at the U.S or none of that stuff, that wasn't working for Green Day. It's just a tender song of love, or so the lyrics read. The melody is tough and sweet, and really well made. It has an uncanny resemblance to John Lennon's style, which is great...kudos, Billy, Tre and Mike. It's not a song worth for what so far has been a cheap album. The music is what really drives this song, and the lyrics are all right, I guess. So far this is the track that lights up. It has such a captivating sound, with the sustained chords that echo in the distance, giving it such a Lennon-ish feeling to it. John could be singing this song just because it rocks!
This is what the album should be full of: songs that don't worry about the meaning of the words, but just about the effect the music has on the fans.
